McDonald’s French fries


  • Canola Oil
  • Sunflower oil
  • Corn oil
  • ¼ cup ice
  • ½ cup unsalted vegetable stock
  • ¼ cup of soy milk
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • Potatoes


  • Heat oil.
  • Combine ice, vegetable stock, soy milk, and baking powder in a bowl, and mix until combined.
  • Place fries into the brine, and remove after a few seconds.
  • Refrigerate them for a few minutes.
  • Drop fries into oil, cook for 2 minutes, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Pringles at home


  • 2 small onions
  • Mashed potatoes powder
  • 4 tbsp of lemon juice
  • – 4 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of sour cream
  • 1 2/3 cups of instant mashed potatoes (powder)
  • salt
  • 1 tbsp of sugar
  • Oil
  • Ground black pepper


put the minced onion in a small pot and add the milk and the sour cream and mix everything.

Then, add the lemon juice, salt, and sugar. Mix again.

Once you have mixed everything, put the pot on the fire and heat the mix until it boils. Then turn the fire off and let the mix settle for 10 minutes.

Finally, strain the mix. What you need is the liquid, so you can discard the rest.

Once you have the liquid ready, add the instant mashed potatoes powder to it and stir well until it is mixed.

Afterwards, add the black pepper (to taste) and the cornstarch. Finally, mix everything and knead until you get a homogeneous dough.

Now that you have the dough ready, put a sheet of waxed paper over a tray and put the dough on it. Cut pringles thinly.

Put them in a tray and refigerate.

Preheat the oven at 350º F (10-15 minutes) and take the dough layer out of the fridge.

Spread a thin layer of oil on a oven tray and sprinkle some salt on it. This with prevent the Pringles from sticking to the tray and it will give them a salty touch.

Put the Pringles in the oven for 12-15 minutes. Then, take them out, turn them over, and put them back in the oven for another 10 minutes.
