Herbal tea for immunity

Herbal tea is the best drink for common cold and other infections.Herbs can increase the number of white blood cells or germ-fighting microbes in our body. Herbs contain various medicinal values like anti-inflammatory,anti-fungal anti-viral, and anti-microbial.Due to the powerful benefits, they have been used in ayurvedic medicine for many years. Here we have some herbal tea recipes and their benefits for you to try it out.

1.Ginger root tea

What you will need:

2 pieces of ginger root(about one inch each)

2 cups of water

1 tablespoon of honey

1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice


1.Peel and slice the ginger into thin pieces.

2.Take a saucepan with two cups of water and boil the water with the ginger pieces. allow it to boil for 20 minutes.

3.Strain the ginger root tea into a cup, add lime juice and honey for taste.

4.Enjoy the warm ginger root tea.

2.Chamomile tea

What you will need:

2 cups of water

3 teaspoons of dried chamomile

1 tablespoon of honey


1.Take a saucepan and start heating water on high heat.

2.Once the water starts boiling for at least 2 minutes, switch off the heat and add the dried chamomile .Cover it for a minute.

3.Strain the chamomile tea into the teacup .Add honey and mix it well.

4.Enjoy the warm chamomile tea.

5.Cinnamon tea

What you will need:

1 cinnamon stick

1 cup of water

1 teabag

1 tablespoon of honey


1.Place the cinnamon stick in a teacup.

2.Add boiling water into the teacup and steep the cinnamon stick. Cover it for 10 minutes.

3.Add the tea bag and steep it for an additional 2 minutes.

4.Remove the tea bag and the cinnamon stick.

5.Add honey to the tea and mix it well.

6.Enjoy the warm cinnamon tea.
